Our mission: to create memorable learning experiences by offering ski and snowboard lessons over several weeks.
Our programs are offered by the Snow School les Sommets, renowned for its size, the diversity of its programs and its certified instructors. Winner of numerous awards, it remains the most decorated school in Quebec. Quite simply, we offer the best teaching.

One child for one instructor
3 to 4 years old for skiing | 3 to 5 years old for snowboarding
Treat your child to a personalized first experience under the guidance of our certified instructors. They will monitor your little champions' progress each week to ensure safe, gentle learning. This program emphasizes fun and the development of self-confidence, allowing your child to learn while having fun. Available at all our Sommets in the Laurentians, with several Saturday and Sunday schedules.

Under the guidance of an instructor, and through various activities and games, introduce your child to the joys of skiing, with both of you on skis. The initiation takes place in the learning zone in a friendly atmosphere, allowing parents to witness the skill development of their future champions! Four children per group.

Offered for skiing at all our Sommets and snowboarding at most of them, this group program, available at various times on Saturdays or Sundays, will help your little one learn to ski or snowboard in a fun and safe environment. Snowpark introduction

A full-day program for kids aged 6 to 17 looking for a challenge and an introduction to the terrain park, with approximately 7 kids per class. The program is aimed at both snow park first-timers and skiers and snowboarders with previous all-terrain skiing or snowboarding experience. The objective is to acquire a good technique for jumping, on modules and rails, and to progress from basic to advanced maneuvers and tricks. The program is supervised by snowpark-certified instructors.

From 12 years old | ski | snowboard
Full-day program for intermediate to advanced skiers or snowboarders who want to become ski or snowboard instructors or improve their technique. Approximately 7 students per class. The main objective of this program is to develop a complete skier or snowboarder on all types of slopes, and to introduce them to teaching young children. Ideal for those who aspire to teach in our Sommets and, in turn, pass on the pleasures of skiing and snowboarding.

Skipping school
Ski
Discover the pleasure of skiing with our group lessons (approx. 8 people per class) for adults (18+) offered weekdays on Tuesday afternoons, Wednesday evenings and Friday mornings. These personalized sessions offer a friendly atmosphere in which to take a break from work. Supervised by experienced instructors, you'll progress at your own pace while sharing rewarding moments with other ski enthusiasts. Take advantage of a less crowded ski area and optimized learning to refine your technique and boost your confidence on the slopes.

Master series
Ski | 10 or 20 trainings during the week
10 on-course training sessions on Tuesday mornings or Thursday afternoons for a maximum of one training session per week.
OR
20 on-course training sessions on Tuesday mornings and Thursday afternoons. Approximately 12 adults per class. The courses alternate between slalom and giant slalom each week. The aim is to encourage the development of ski racing among Masters by offering skiers the opportunity to participate in regular high-level training.

Alpine ski team
The various alpine ski racing teams offer complete training programs for skiers aged 6 to 21. These programs are offered at all les Sommets ski areas. However, options and specialties may differ from mountain to mountain.

Important
When you register for a program, you must purchase a Season Pass or a School Pass valid for the day of your program, giving you access to the mountain for the duration of the program.
This is undoubtedly the most eagerly awaited time of the winter for children. On the program: masquerade costume, music, fun activities, shows, an outdoor barbecue, and lots of surprises. We even organize a medal ceremony to celebrate the outstanding individual performances, team spirit and camaraderie of our young skiers and snowboarders.

By choosing one of Les Sommets Snow Schools, you will receive important communications by e-mail throughout the season. Please read them carefully to make sure you get the most out of your program. Have a great season!

To pick up your season pass, you must present yourself at least one week before the start of the program to take your photo and pick up your School Pass or Season Pass, if you haven't already done so. Everyone must be in possession of a valid pass at all times to ride the lifts. A $5 fee applies to replace a School Pass or Season Pass.
2024-2025
Your School Pass is valid for 11 or 13 days, depending on the membership you choose and the day your child is enrolled in the program.

What's more, your School Pass entitles you to a 25% discount on a full-day ticket at the regular rate at any time during the 2024-2025 season.
When you register, you must purchase a Season Pass or School Pass valid for the day of your program, giving you access to the lifts for the entire duration of the program. Your School Pass is valid from Saturday, January 4 or Sunday, January 5, 2025, as well as the two weekends following the end of the programs, depending on the day of the course in which your child is enrolled. (Not applicable to Mogul Team, SNOPRK Team and certain Snow School programs listed below)
Get a "Day off" as a BONUS for most of our programs. This day allows you to postpone one (1) class at the end of the program, free of charge and for any reason. Whether it's due to illness, a birthday, an important appointment, the weather or simply because you want to rest.
Conditions: Depending on the resort, these programs consist of 7 or 9 courses spread over 8 or 10 weeks, including a "Day off":
Sommet Saint-Sauveur, Sommet Morin Heights, Sommet Olympia & Sommet Gabriel
Regular programs*
Consists of 9 lessons spread over 10 weeks, including the "Day off", i.e. from Saturday, January 11 or Sunday January 12, 2025 to Saturday, March 15 or Sunday, March 16, 2025. Customers who wish to take advantage of a "Day off" during the season may repeat the missed course on the last day of the season, Saturday or Sunday, March 15 or 16, 2025, but only if weather and snow conditions permit.
Restrictions: Les Sommets reserves the right to cancel and/or postpone any Snow School course in the event of force majeure or for any other reason beyond its control that would prevent it from offering the course on the date initially scheduled, notably for reasons related to weather and snow conditions, equipment breakdown, closure ordered by municipal or government authorities, whether or not related to the health situation, labour shortage, or for any other reason deemed valid by Les Sommets. In the event of cancellation of a course for any of the above reasons, Les Sommets reserves the right to reschedule the course for the last weekend, i.e. Saturday March 15 or Sunday March 16, 2025.
It is understood that despite the possibility for the customer to benefit from a "Day off" or despite the possibility for Les Sommets to cancel/postpone a lesson, Les Sommets undertakes to offer a minimum of 9 lessons. The 10th lesson scheduled for the last weekend of March 15 or 16, 2025 is not a service for which the customer pays, but is a free service offered as a bonus by Les Sommets. Under no circumstances will Les Sommets be forced to offer this 10th lesson or issue a refund if Les Sommets is unable to offer this 10th lesson for the reasons stated above.

If you are late for reasons beyond your control, a supervisor will guide your child to their group. If your child is more than 10 minutes late, it will be your responsibility to find their group.
The Snow School reserves the right to cancel a course due to weather conditions. Winter temperatures in Quebec vary from year to year, and let's face it, we live in a Nordic country. Cold weather is not a factor in cancelling a class. It is the parent's responsibility to contact the ski school to check if a lesson is cancelled. The decision will be made that morning and posted on the website at 7 a.m. It is therefore ESSENTIAL to visit the resort's website to find out the status of the lesson. If a group course is cancelled, it will be rescheduled for the day off already scheduled.
We would like to offer parents of children taking lessons the opportunity to use the line reserved for Snow Schools. To access this line, the parent must help one or two children who require assistance boarding the lift during their lesson. Only accompanying parents may use this line.
For lifts without a reserved line, we also invite parents to offer their help to instructors to assist children boarding the lift.

Rio isn't the only place to boast a colorful carnival! Your snow school will be putting on a colorful show for you during the last weekend of classes. On the program: friendly competitions, medal ceremonies, hot-dog lunches with the instructors and, of course, masquerade costume!
2024-2025
The most important thing for us is that children learn while having fun in a safe environment.
That's how they can improve and develop to their full potential. Our certified instructors, courteous and attentive, help your child develop their skills at their own pace throughout the 7 or 9 weeks of ski or snowboard lessons. Depending on their progress, your child could remain at the same level for two consecutive years. To find out more, talk to your child's school director or instructor. They'll be happy to answer any questions you may have.

No requests for program refunds will be accepted once programs have begun. In the case of injury or illness, a credit will be issued for an amount equivalent to the value of the remaining courses. An administration fee of $40 is applicable per refund transaction, even with medical proof. This proof must be provided within 15 days of the injury for the credit to be applicable.
