Groupe Les Sommets is proud to announce that Louis Dufour, co-owner and pillar of the Canadian ski industry, was inducted into the Canadian Ski Hall of Fame at a prestigious gala held in Montreal on November 15, 2024. The event honoured 11 outstanding personalities who have achieved the highest levels of success and made significant contributions to snowsports in Canada.
Louis Dufour always managed to add a touch of magic to the projects he undertook. Among his many achievements, he made history by installing the first high-speed quad chairlift in the Laurentians and developing a mountain water park. A visionary and innovator, he also created one of the world's largest evening ski areas.
