A street in honor of Louis Dufour

Published the November 12 2022
Les Sommets Louis Dufour Nouvelle Rue

A beautiful tribute was paid to Louis Dufour, pioneer and great builder of the ski industry in Quebec.

At Sommet Saint-Sauveur's T-Bar 70, a beautiful tribute was paid to Louis Dufour, co-founder of les Sommets. Family, friends, partners and Louis' loved ones were present for the evening which also served as a Toast to Winter; the traditional evening is organized by the Laurentian Ski Museum every year.

In recognition of Louis' remarkable dedication, a street in his name will now appear on the map: Chemin Louis-Dufour, which is the current Chemin des Pentes.

The event was unveiled by Jacques Gariépy, Mayor of Saint-Sauveur and Martin Nadon, Mayor of Piedmont. Special thanks to the two municipalities, without whom the les Sommets adventure would never have been possible.
